BEHAVIOUR CODE

The Education Act Section 149 outlines the duties of a student.

  1. To attend school regularly and punctually.
  2. To provide himself/herself with such supplies and material necessary for their courses of study.
  3. To observe standards with respect to cleanliness and tidiness of person, general deportment, obedience, courtesy and respect for the rights of other persons.
  4. To be diligent in his/her studies.
  5. To conform to the rules of the school and submit to such discipline as would be exercised by a kind, firm, and judicious parent.
  6. To be accountable to the teacher, the principal, and any other person designated by the principal, for his/her conduct on the school premises during school hours and during such out-of-school hours when school personnel are in charge of authorized school activities.
